The Colombia youth international is expected to officially move to Old Trafford after turning 18 in July 2026 as confirmed by journalist Ben Jacobs on Thursday morning.
“Manchester United have agreed a deal to sign Colombia Under-17 international Cristian Orozco when he turns 18, as called by @PSierraR
“The defensive midfielder captained Colombia as they reached the final of the Under-17 South American Championships last spring.”
This deal comes after the likes of Diego Leon was poached away from Paraguayan club Cerro Porteno earlier this year in a £3m transfer as United invest in young talent for the future.
The 17-year-old will joins the likes of Mali midfielder Sekou Kone, Ayden Heaven and Chido Obi in what is now an exciting youth setup for The Red Devils under manager Ruben Amorim and director of football Jason Wilcox.
The Manchester World also reports that both Fortaleza and Rojo FC will benefit financially from the deal that will take Orozco to Old Trafford next year.
