The young attacker featured in the preseason friendly defeat to former club Celta Vigo at Molineux on the weekend.
Lopez told the Wolves website: “I’m feeling very, very excited to start the season. Playing in this wonderful stadium, I’m very grateful to the fans that came here because it’s pre-season, it’s a friendly and the stadium was nearly full.
“I’m very grateful for them for giving me a very warm welcome, and I’m very happy to play my first game here. Let’s hope there’s a lot more.
“It was amazing. We really feel the support in all the actions, all the tackles, all the dribbles, everything.
“I think they’re going to help us a lot during the season.”
Wolves kickoff their Premier League campaign against Manchester City and Lopez added, “I think we are well prepared. I think the coach has really worked on what he wants us to do.
“I am very grateful for him and for the opportunity he’s given me and I think that we will do a very good job this season.”
