Liverpool have reportedly reached a verbal agreement with Senegal star Mor Ndiaye.

The 18-year-old is ready to make the move to Merseyside, as revealed by transfer guru Fabrizio Romano on Thursday afternoon as Liverpool build a defence for the future.

Ndiaye demonstrated his potential at the recent U17 World Cup in Qatar, starting all four games at the tournament, which ended with Senegal’s defeat to Uganda in the round of 32 stage.

Ndiaye will reportedly join Rob Page's Under-21 set-up and will stay with the side until the end of the season, where loan options may be discussed.

Tribuna report that young midfielder Amara Nallo could be sent out on loan to make way for Ndiaye's arrival.

Earlier today, Liverpool snapped up 19-year-old centre-back Noah Adekoya from Burnley whilst also agreeing a deal for Ifeanyi Ndukwe who will join in the summer from Austria Vienna for £2.6M.
