A Scouser, Adekoya had trials with Liverpool in 2018 and captained Burnley to the U18 Professional Development League North title last season.
The 19 year-old penned a new deal with Clarets in October, but is now joining the Reds.
Adekoya announced on Wednesday that he had signed for his boyhood club, joining as part of a recruitment drive at Liverpool this month.
