However, Le Bris also is adamant the new arrivals will not disrupt the momentum garnered from their promotion campaign last season.
He said, “The gap is so important and it was obvious that we needed to reinforce, building on the strong identity. We don’t want to change everything because the identity, the foundations, the players and the people in the building worked really well even before me.
“Because the gap is so important, we have to improve many things and we are on the right way.”
Le Bris penned a new contract this week and added, “I like huge challenges. We know we can expect the gap will be important because we’ll face the strongest teams in the world.
“It’s not about fear, it’s about desire, ambition and positive energy. In sport, we believe that it’s these challenges that make you wake up in the morning.
“To grow as staff and as a manager, you need tough opponents. This is a massive opportunity to meet with the best coaches, the greatest teams and the best players.
“We’ll struggle sometimes because you can’t manage everything but that creates the desire and the energy to create something new.”
