The Belgium goalkeeper has impressed over his first season in the Premier League. However, he admits advisors did warn him about moving to Old Trafford.
He recalled to The Sun: “They warned me a little bit before. They warned me that Manchester United is a different animal, especially social media wise.
“They warned me that it is one of the biggest clubs, if not the biggest club.”
Lammens, on his game, also stated: “I take pride in being all round, not really having any flaws. But also not really forcing errors or not really trying to chase the game.
“I spoke a lot about it with (third-choice goalkeeper) Tom Heaton as well, who’s helping me in my time here.
“He’s talking about goalkeeping like not really giving things away and keeping your team in the game and sometimes it’s not giving the games away.
“Because you don’t always have the biggest things to do or the biggest work to do, but it’s also like staying focused and not giving anything to the opponent, not easy things at least.
“I take pride in that as well and I think that’s also a big thing to be a good goalkeeper.
“And if you want to have a long career – especially in these kinds of clubs – they have to count on you and you have to be dependable.”
