The former Arsenal defender impressed in a back three as he stepped up with United losing Matthijs de Ligt and Harry Maguire struggling with injury.
Heaven told MUTV afterwards: "I’ve had to be really patient.
"I feel like the manager is trusting me more now. I feel like whenever I’m playing, I’m getting better each time. I just want to develop and show what I can do.
"I feel great, we all feel great. It’s good to get another win and we’re just going to take this confidence into the next coming games."
United manager Ruben Amorim also stated: "I'm really proud of everyone today.
"They did a very good job. I think Ayden (Heaven) has a great future. He's really hard to beat. He adapts really well in the centre.
"We have Matta (Matthijs de Ligt) and Harry (Maguire) with problems. Of course, he needs more rhythm to play 90 minutes.
"Sometimes he plays man v man in that position and I think he did really well. I really enjoyed to see him with the ball and that was a very good part in this game."
