Earlier this week, Barcelona presidential candidate Victor Font said he is working to secure the signing of Haaland should he win this month's election,
According to Font, there have been talks about a possible agreement.
But Haaland's agent Rafaela Pimenta has now delivered an update. In an interview with La Sexta, the agent denies that there has been any contact between the parties.
"We have great respect for Barcelona, but there has been no contact between the parties about a possible transfer," said Pimenta.
At the same time, she emphasised that Haaland is satisfied at City.
"He extended his contract a few months ago and is very happy at Manchester City. Everything works well for him there, so there's really nothing to discuss when it comes to a transfer."
