Jordan Henderson's first goal for Brentford was cancelled out by Dominic Calvert-Lewin as the points were shared at the Gtech.
It was Gnonto laid on the cross for Calvert-Lewin's goal and he said afterwards: "Obviously, we wanted to win. We tried to win, but today was difficult. We played lots of long balls and it was kind of like a fight, so we are happy with the point and we move on.
"We know that we can get back into the game even if it's quite late in the game, but I feel like today we showed our character. We didn't make it easy for ourselves, but we got back into the game and we're happy.
"I think it's easier when you play with a striker like Dom. You just know that you have to put it in that area and he's going to attack it. I thought it was quite a good ball, but he did a lot of the job, and I'm happy for him.
"The team is playing well. I think we have lots of good players and I can say the competition is quite high. But at the same time, I have to try and use all my chances. I think I did it today. I did it against Liverpool and I just have to keep going like this."
