Saudi Arabian government official Turki Al-Sheikh has declared on X this week that United's owners are in talks to sell to a "new investor".

The Mirror says the Glazers would be willing to sell - but at a price beyond £5bn. Such a figure is worth more than double of United's Stock Exhange value.
United's current price is regarded as around £2bn.
And it's been suggested the Glazers could sell part 48.9 per cent stake in United to Saudi interests in order to bring in fresh investment and funds for the team and new stadium project.
