Glasner announced last month that he would leave Palace when his deal expired at the end of this season.
However, there has been speculation that Palace would move to replace Glasner early with fans unhappy over the Austrian's announcement.
But on Friday, Glasner declared: "I had absolute certainty that I would stay.
"For me, the most important thing is the players and the trust they place in me and the staff: without that, you can pack your bags and go home.
"There's great unity, even with the president and the sporting director."
On Palace's unhappy fans, he continued: "Sometimes we forget that this is Palace's second-best season ever in the Premier League. Last year was perhaps the best, with their first European experience."
However, there was also a concession from Glasner as he stated: "Maybe some interviews weren't helpful, but I always say what I feel."
