Williams has been restricted to just one outing in the Championship, which came as a five-minute cameo came in the 3-0 defeat to Blackburn Rovers in August.
This is due to a consistent calf problem meaning he could not build the required fitness to feature for The Tigers who are making a push towards the Premier League this season.
The 25-year-old full-back had joined the Tigers last summer after a trial period, but the club confirmed this week that he will no longer be a part of the squad as he becomes a free agent once again.
“Hull City can confirm that full-back Brandon Williams has left the club by mutual agreement.
“We would like to thank Brandon for his efforts during his time at the MKM Stadium and wish him all the best for his future career.”
Williams parted ways with the Red Devils in the summer of 2024 upon the expiry of his contract after he was handed a suspended prison sentence for a serious driving offence.
Since then many reports have claimed he has fallen out of love with football and some have even claimed he is searching for a move abroad. Now, with the winter window slammed shut, he may have to wait until the summer to secure a new club.
