The Sun's Alan Nixon is reporting Blackpool are set to beat Plymouth Argyle in the battle of former Manchester United players.
Taylor held talks with Watford manager Tom Cleverley and also Steve Bruce about Blackpool and is now favouring a move to the latter.
The striker spent last season on-loan with Wigan Athletic and is set to leave Forest for a seven-figure fee.
