With Spurs just one point above the dropzone, current caretaker manager Igor Tudor is facing the axe during this international break.
The Telegraph says Tottenham's first-choice to replace Tudor is free agent Roberto de Zerbi, who is available after leaving Olympique Marseille last month.
However, while the Italian is keen on the job, De Zerbi has made it clear he isn't interested in taking charge until the summer.
As such, on their shortlist of alternatives is Dyche, who was sacked by Nottingham Forest just weeks ago. The Englishman is seen as the ideal firefighter to keep Spurs out of the bottom three for the remainder of the season.
