Forest sit one place outside the bottom three, four points clear of third-from-bottom West Ham.
Dyche said: “It's just an easy line to use (a six-pointer). I've been in it (the Premier League) so many years now and we are only just at the halfway point so there is a lot more football to be played either way.
“It's very helpful to win these games, quite obviously. So that's the challenge, go and win away from home; go and take on the challenge right in front of our eyes.”
Dyche also stated: “I'm under no illusion, it's a season of work. If you look at the stats and the facts, apart from the super-powered teams, it's very unlikely that teams don't have a tough spell. Very unlikely, highly improbable, that you don't have a tough spell.
“We're going through one currently, but we haven't been before that. Now it's about turning that around.

“It's not my first time, and the players have had tough spells before - this season and previous seasons. They even had one at the end of last season when everyone was thinking they were in the Champions League and they took eight points out of eight games. It's not like they're unfamiliar to it, it can happen.”
