The Telegraph says Chelsea players are questioning Fernandez's loyalty after the way he has cast doubt publicly on his future at Stamford Bridge over the past fortnight.
Blues teammates are also unimpressed with the way the Argentina international has become more and more vocal during the poor run of form. Enzo has been critical of teammates, even throwing the ball at goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen after a passing error against PSG.
The behaviour and criticism has left his teammates angry with Enzo, particularly given his willingness to discuss a departure with Argentine media.
Asked about his plans after their Champions League exit at the hands of PSG, Enzo told ESPN: “I don’t know, there are eight games left and the FA Cup. There’s the World Cup and then we’ll see.”
He also this week told LuzuTV: “I always tell Valu that if I have to choose a city to live in Europe, I really like Madrid. It’s very similar to Buenos Aires.”
