The 28-year-old has been in some fine form since heading to the Camp Nou last summer, scoring 14 goals and providing 11 assists in his 48 games.
Rashford capped off his impressive season in Catalunya with a free kick goal in El Clasico which helped secure the La Liga title for Barcelona.
According to Catalunya Radio, after some consideration, Barcelona are now willing to pay the £26 million option to buy in their loan deal.
It’s understood that Barcelona don’t think they’ll be able to find a player with the quality of Rashford at a similar price point.
They had hoped to negotiate on the fee with parent club Man United, but the Premier League side had no interest in doing so.
It’s also been reported that Rashford would be willing to take a massive 40% wage cut to help make the move happen.
