Mikel Arteta’s men secured their first league title in 22 years after Manchester City played out a 1-1 draw against Bournemouth on Tuesday evening.
The former Nigerian captain, who enjoyed a successful spell in north London, took to social media to praise the Emirates Stadium giants for their determination throughout the campaign.
“KAN U believe it??? Arsenal Forever,” Kanu wrote on social media.
“The Gunners worked so hard for this. Difficult but they fought. Very well deserved. Come on you gunners.”
Kanu remains one of Arsenal’s most loved former players after winning two Premier League titles and two FA Cups during his time at the club.
