Orlando forced into rethink as Griezmann set for Atletico Madrid U-turn

Despite pressure from Orlando management to make the move this month with the MLS season underway, Griezmann is digging in his heels.

ESPN says the French veteran is now ready to see out the season with Atletico - so putting his move to the USA in jeopardy.

Orlando have insisted Griezmann must join them before the MLS transfer window closes before March 26.

But that date falls ahead of the Copa del Rey final, with Griezmann eager to be part of that clash with Real Sociedad. The striker also wants to help Atletico in this month's Champions League round of 16 tie with Tottenham.

As such, Orlando's board will have to rethink their ultimatum to Griezmann if they want to see him in their colours later in the year.
