Griezmann is expected to join Orlando City this month, though after reaching the Copa del Rey final last night, there is hope the veteran will stay to make the game.
After holding off Barcelona in last night's semifinal second-leg, Atletico coach Diego Simeone said: "I hope he plays in the final. He deserves it more than anyone. His quality and talent will stay with him for life.
"What more can I add? I love him dearly, I always want the best for him, and I hope he can play in that final."
Atletico captain Koke also stated, “Hopefully. I don't know what's going to happen with Antoine. He's the one who has to decide about his future, and hopefully it will be the best for him, for Atlético fans, and for the club.
"We all want him to be with us and finish his career at Atlético de Madrid, but that's the decision he has to make."
Meanwhile, Atletico midfielder Marcos Llorente said, “We have no idea. It's a very personal decision. I don't know what's going to happen, and we haven't asked him either. He'll decide what's best for him, and we'll support him. The only thing I can tell you is that he's a great friend, a great teammate.
"Having him on the team is always good, but we're all human, we have our own goals in life, and we have to respect everyone's feelings.”
