Atletico Madrid face losing Griezmann "in coming weeks"

The French veteran is in advanced talks with Orlando City, says the Athletic.

And the plan is for Griezmann to be available for Orlando by the time the MLS season kicks off in March.

Orlando City chief Ricardo Moreira has made several trips to Madrid to close an agreement with Griezmann, who has long spoken about wanting to taste US soccer before hanging up his boots.

Now 34, Griezmann's departure would be a blow for Atletico, which are still alive in the Champions League and sitting fourth in LaLiga.
