The former Manchester United and Juventus midfielder's celebrated comeback at Monaco has stalled due to niggling injuries.
Gazzetta.it suggests the issues have Monaco now considering Pogba's future with the club, with chief executive, Thiago Scuro, driving the rethink.
Pogba has been battling a calf injury, sustained during a training session last month. Initially described as 'minor', the issue has sidelined him for seven games.
ASM coach Sebastien Pocognoli has said of Pogba's fitness problems: "To have come back from where he was and to play again is already spectacular.
"But right now, I can’t look towards the future. He is working, and we are there to support him. I understand the concern but I can’t worry about that. I manage the team, and Paul is a part of what I want to put in place, as soon as he is ready to help us."
