Monaco's CEO has admitted his frustrations over Paul Pogba's constant injury setbacks since he joined the Ligue 1 side last summer.

Pogba, 32, made his long-awaited return to football following an 18-month doping ban, joining Monaco as a free agent last summer.

The 2018 World Cup winner has featured for just 30 minutes across his three Ligue 1 games due to several injury issues, however.

Monaco CEO Thiago Scuro aired his frustrating regarding the midfielder at a press conference on Wednesday, saying: "Clearly, the programme for Paul is not working as we expected in the beginning. We are working hard to find solutions for him.

"Personally, he is disturbed. The plan is always changing according to the situations that we face. A few small injuries in different parts of the body are bringing challenges to the process.

“We keep working to try to deliver what we agreed on in the summer when he arrived. This is our commitment."
