However, Longoria admits the deal isn't as straightforward as it suggests.
He said, "We currently own 60% of Mason Greenwood's economic rights. If we qualify for next season's Champions League, we'll own 65%.
"We're very happy with his progress; we know his talent, but the work Roberto de Zerbi is doing with him is extraordinary. Mason is always looking to improve, and we want continuity with him."
Greenwood is currently Ligue Une's leading scorer with 11 goals.
