The former Borussia Dortmund and FC Zurich coach has chosen to retire at the age of 68.

His last assignment was with OGC Nice, but he was fired in January 2023. It was his second spell with the French club.
Since then, he has not taken on any new posts - and now Favre has announced that his coaching career is over.
"I made the decision a while ago. I've always been busy. Now that I'm 68, everything has gone quickly," he told Blick.
"I've almost forgotten my age because I've always been busy, always been busy. It's good for me the way it is now."
