Indeed, internally, the midfielder is even considered a training 'champion'.
The problem is that in his 27 appearances for Dortmund, Bellingham, who was signed from Sunderland for €30.5m in the summer, has been largely disappointing.
Recently, he was criticised for not providing enough impact and for not taking enough risks in his passing game.
However, Dortmund management remain confident Bellingham will eventually justify his price-tag.
