Hazard hung up the boots last year at the age of 33 after three difficult years with Real Madrid.
Speaking to "Zack en roue libre" on Twitch, Hazard revealed: "PSG had tried, I've always remained on good terms with Nasser (Al Khelaifi, PSG president).
"During my last year at Lille, I went to see a PSG match, I liked Paris... but I simply didn't want to return to Ligue 1. I had made my way at Lille, and also out of respect for the Lyonnais, I didn't see myself playing against Lille, scoring goals against them... it wasn't the right thing."
As for the Domaine de Luchin , which houses both Lille's training centre and headquarters, Hazard explained what struck him most at the age of 14: "For us, Luchin was the new trendy centre, the pitches (today there is one named after him), everything was brand new... I said: 'Whoa!'. And the club too, it was a good Ligue 1 club, with its proximity to Belgium, which was an advantage."
