The 20-year-old academy prospect has now become Shrewsbury's sixth addition of the January transfer window as he looks to prove himself in League Two.
Standing at six foot two, Temple can play as a midfielder, central defender or at full-back and adds versatility to the Shrewsbury side who are currently 20th in the league ahead of this weekend’s clash with MK Dons.
"Temple is somebody I have been aware of for a while," Shrewsbury Town boss Michael Appleton told the club website.
"He caught my eye in a game I watched earlier this season because he likes a tackle, he is a big presence and he can get across the ground.
"He played in midfield that day. We kept an eye on him. We knew there was a possibility of getting him in for a few days, which we did.
"We then very quickly got to an agreement. We are delighted to have him on board."
He has already been training with the first team and could be ready to feature against MK Dons in what is another exciting signing for the club aiming to avoid relegation.
