He was recalled from Lincoln City, where he had been on-loan, before being sent to Doncaster.
"It's been a tough few months with game time but coming here I feel like I'm going to get more of that and a lot more chances to show what I'm all about and why I should be playing more," he said.
Okoronkwo scored twice in 20 appearances for the Imps - including one against League One rivals Doncaster in November.
