AS says Partey has agreed with Villarreal on a contract for the upcoming season.
Partey is set to return to La Liga, having previously played for Atlético Madrid.
Villarreal kicks off the La Liga season at home against newcomers Real Oviedo on August 15.
Partey has also played for Spanish clubs such as Mallorca and Alméria.
