He said on La Pizarra: "Real Madrid wants (Nico) Schlotterbeck, but (Borussia) Dortmund is pushing for him to renew his contract.
"(Ibrahima) Konaté from Liverpool is another option; Real Madrid is in talks with his representatives."
Moretto also noted that Real Madrid is closely monitoring Jacobo Ramón's progress at Como, adding, "Cesc is absolutely enamored with him."
The club is also "delighted with his growth and development as a footballer" and is considering bringing him back "this summer or, if not, next."
Regarding the centre-back, his first choice is Real Madrid, "if he has to return, he'll do so gladly."
