Kroos, now over 12 months into his retirement, "Surely he will know how to correct what needs to be adjusted. There are things that must change, but things have to go well with such quality.
"His playing record helps, but it doesn't protect him if he doesn't win titles three years in a row.
"I think the season will be better."
Meanwhile, Kroos also had a comment on new defensive signing Dean Huijsen.
He also said on the Einfach bad Luppen podcast: "A very complete central defender, strong in his aerial game, fast and with good ball delivery."
