And Flick admits it is important that Garcia is secured to a new agreement as soon as possible.
He said, "We are working on renewing Eric García's contract.
"We can all see how much Eric has improved and how confident he looks. He is playing at a fantastic level.
"Having Eric is fantastic for a coach; he plays at a high level in several positions."
