However, Gonzalez's father says no quickfire decision will be made.
He said, “They wanted to sign him last week; they came with the offer, we talked about it, and he decided he wanted to stay at Chivas, earn a spot in the World Cup, and then, if the opportunity to go to Europe arises, we'll consider it.”
Last season, Gonzalez scored 14 goals in 29 appearances for Chivas.
