The striker has extended his deal with Celta to 2028.

Duran came through Celta's youth system, having worked with coach Claudio Giraldez when he pair were together with the B team.
Since his promotion, Duran has played 68 official matches, scoring 11 goals and providing 8 assists.
He said upon putting pen to paper: “It means so much to be at home, at the club we're from. My family and I should be very proud. I hope it will be for many more years.
"I'm incredibly happy and enjoying this moment. It's something you dream about since you're a kid , playing for Celta, playing at Balaídos, at home, in my region. It's a pleasure. I want to keep improving, keep growing; I still have a lot to refine.”
