The former Barcelona keeper left in 2023 for Paris Saint-Germain, where he won six titles, including the Champions League, despite never finding a starting spot.
Tenas also won a gold medal with Spain at the 2024 Paris Olympics and has been part of the senior Spain squad.
The 24 year-old moves to Villarreal for €2.5m.
