After several days of negotiations with PSG, the Basque club officially signed the Valencian until 2029 in exchange for €6m for 50 per cent of his rights.
Real Sociedad and the player granted their wish to acquire him outright, thus reversing the initial loan agreement. Ultimately, the midfielder's availability and the Spanish club's efforts led to a permanent transfer for the next four seasons.
The official statement reads: "Real Sociedad and Paris Saint-Germain have reached an agreement for the transfer of Carlos Soler to the Biancoceleste club.
"Real Sociedad, in turn, has reached an agreement with the player until the end of the 2028-29 season, with an option for the club to extend his contract for another season."
