De Tomas has had a difficult past 12 months at Rayo, where he struggled with injury issues last season.

The centre-forward has now left Rayo for Qatar where he has joined Al-Wakrah on-loan for the new campaign.
De Tomas managed just two appearances last term with Rayo.
The LaLiga outfit announced last night: "Rayo Vallecano and Al-Wakrah have reached an agreement for Raul de Tomas to join the Qatari club on loan until the end of the season. Good luck, Raúl."
