Asked by Diario Ara who he would like to see Barca sign, Bernal said: "I would sign Julián Alvarez."
The midfielder has now recovered from a serious knee injury suffered last year and also recalled: "I would say the first night was the worst. It was very long. And after the operation, too.
"You can't walk, you can't do anything. I couldn't even change by myself! It was a month and a half that was very hard.
"Gavi had already warned me that this would happen: that at first it would be very hard, but that later, on the pitch, running, doing exercises with the ball... I would feel like a capable person."
