Barcelona told to go higher for Al Ahly superkid Abdelkarim

On Sport is reporting Barca's proposal of a loan-to-buy arrangement has been rejected by the Egyptian giants.

Al Ahly are insisting their 17 year-old striker will only leave for an outright sale.

Barca had included a permanent option in their first offer of €4m. But Al Ahly are insisting on €8m to sell  Abdelkarim.

Barca have now made a new offer for Abdelkarim. However, the bid is said to be again lower than Al Ahly's demands.
