Liverpool clash with Wolves in the FA Cup this week but will be without 5 stars as manager Arne Slot rotates.

Wolves and Liverpool lock horns for the second time in four days after the side at the bottom of the league beat the Premier League champions 2-1 earlier this week.

The Reds have zero chance at winning the title this season, but hopes are still alive in the FA Cup and Champions League as Slot attempts to snatch silverware in what has been a disappointing season so far.

As they prepare to get revenge on Wolves this Friday, Slot will be making changes to his side as he deals without Conor Bradley (knee) and Giovanni Leoni (knee) which opens up doors for the likes of Joe Gomez and Calvin Ramsay to earn more game time.

In midfield, Wataru Endo (Ankle/Foot Injury) and Florian Wirtz (lower back) are also out, with Slot giving an update on the German international on Thursday morning.

“He trained half-and-half yesterday (Wednesday) with the team,” Slot told reporters on the eve of the match. “What I mean by that is he was a ‘joker’. He made the next step in his rehab.

“Let’s see where he is today and if he then could be available for a few, a few minutes tomorrow in the best-case scenario.”

Finally, Alexander Isak (Calf/Shin/Heel Injury) is also still out but could return at the end of the month or early April at the latest in what will be a huge boost for the side.
