The Sukru Saracoglu Stadium will stage the first ever meeting between these two clubs as new manager Vitor Pereira starts his Forest career with what is a very tough test.
Forest finished in 13th place with 14 points in the 36-team League Phase, two points and six places better off than Fenerbahce.
Nuno Espirito Santo, Ange Postecoglou and Sean Dyche have all been sacked this season and Pereira will hope to get off to a good start as Forest cling on to their European campaign.
However, Pereira may find it tough as he is missing the likes of John Victor (knee), Matz Sels (Groin/Hip/Pelvic Injury), Nicolo Savona (knee), Murillo (Calf/Shin/Heel Injury) and Willy Boly (knee) in defence.
Pereira gave an update on Sels this week, stating:
“I don’t think it is a long-term injury. I spoke with him yesterday and he is recovering well. We will see.”
He also spoke on Murillo who is also a doubt for the clash despite travelling with the squad:
“He is here training with us,” Pereira said in his pre-match press conference. “That means he is in contention to play tomorrow.
When will Wood return?
Finally, star striker Chris Wood (knee) who has not played since mid-October because of a knee injury that required surgery is also out of contention.
He spoke on his set back this month as he opened up on hard it has been for him.
"The manner of the injury has not been perfect because we've tried different things and had setbacks and having to go down different routes of surgery and things like that, so, it's not been smooth sailing.
"It's frustrating not being able to help the team, especially when I'm watching on the sidelines and things like that and knowing I could potentially help if I was involved.
“But I've got to make sure I get myself right, get myself ready, so I can then help the team when I get back and fit."
