Jimoh-Aloba converted a cross from fellow academy graduate Kaden Young to earn the 3-2 win and see Villa finish second in a Europa League group table.
"It’s a proud moment for me on my European debut,” said Jimoh-Aloba. “It’s really nice to make my family proud because of all the hard work.
“I’ve had a lot of lows this season, a lot of highs, but this is top.”
Villa defender Tyrone Mings said of his young teammate: “It’s a lovely moment for Jama.
“Obviously, we see the hard work he puts in day in, day out. The manager is very hard on him, as are the rest of us, because we know his potential.
“But it’s a lovely moment for him.”
