The  Sun says Dyche verbally agreed terms with Forest on Monday, with his appointment to be made public in the next 24 hours.

Dyche, a former Forest youth teamer, has been chosen by club owner Evangelos Marinakis after Roberto Mancini resisted an approach and the £13m needed to prise Marco Silva away from Fulham was deemed too steep.

Dyche lives in Nottingham and is expected to bring former Forest stars Ian Woan and Steve Stone to the City Ground as part of his backroom team.
