The former Manchester United and FC Barcelona forward admitted he has developed a deep connection with the Brazilian side, although negotiations over an extension remain ongoing.
He addressed the speculation after returning to the starting line-up during Corinthians’ Copa Libertadores clash against Platense.
"I think I've already spoken enough, I've done enough, I think everyone knows my desire. The club, the fans, they know that I love Corinthians. I would love to stay, obviously it is not that easy, but we are looking at the best way to negotiate," Depay told reporters in the mixed zone at the Neo Quimica Arena.
Talks are continuing between the Dutch international and the club’s hierarchy, including football director Marcelo Paz, as both sides search for an agreement.
Depay will now turn his attention to international duty after being named in Netherlands national football team’s squad for the 2026 World Cup by Ronald Koeman.
The forward heads into the tournament after making 14 appearances this season, despite missing two months through injury.
