Manchester United clash with Leeds United on Monday night but will be without 6 key players as Michael Carrick rotates.

The Red Devils are third in the Premier League table, seven points ahead of sixth-placed Chelsea as they chase down a place in the Champions League for next season.

United have not been in action since drawing 2-2 with Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium on March 20th, giving Carrick’s side a lengthy break to rest and recover as they spent time in the Republic of Ireland.

Carrick has guided Man United to seven wins, two draws and one defeat from his 10 matches in charge as he aims to extend his impressive record and grab the permanent role that is set to be handed to him at the end of the season.

United are unbeaten in their last 18 home league games against Leeds but will be without a number of key players including Patrick Dorgu (Thigh Injury), Matthijs de Ligt (Lower Back Injury), Harry Maguire (Suspended) Lisandro Martinez (Calf/Shin/Heel Injury) and Diogo Dalot (Illness) in defence.

Carrick may also be without Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko who both withdrew from their national squads during the international break.

Reports claim that the pair are okay and are ready to face Leeds if called upon by Carrick who was likely protecting the pair from any potential injuries over the break.

Mbeumo and Sesko also travelled to Ireland as the duo looked free of injuries that may cause them to be unavailable for Monday’s clash where United could extend their lead on Aston Villa to 3 points.
