PSG captain Marquinhos was full of praise for Randal Kolo Muani after last night's Champions League win against Tottenham.

PSG won 5-3 at the Parc des Princes, with Kolo Muani scoring twice for Spurs. The France centre-forward is on-loan at Tottenham from PSG this season.

Marquinhos said afterwards:  "I know Randal well, I already played against him when he was at Nantes.

"Even in training here in Paris, we all saw the quality he has. He's a physically difficult player to mark, very strong in one-on-one situations. Today he played a great match, he showed all his potential."

The Brazil international also said: "I'm happy for him. Sometimes a player goes through difficult times at a club, things don't work out, and you need to find motivation elsewhere.

"Seeing him play, having fun, and regaining his confidence makes me really happy. He's a great guy, we shared some wonderful moments in the dressing room, and I wish him all the best for the rest of the season."
