Bayer Leverkusen defender Jonathan Tah insists the "small details" earned Arsenal their Champions League win on Wednesday night.

The Gunners won 3-1 at the Emirates with Lennart Karl canceling out Jurrien Timber's opener for Arsenal. Noni Madueke and Gabi Martinelli struck after the break to earn the points for the hosts.

Tah reflected afterwards:  "Obviously not really happy about the result, but it was a really tough game today. I think it was decided in the details, which were on their side. That's why they won.

"I think especially towards the end of the first half, we had the feeling that we were getting our moments and building momentum, but in the second half the game changed a little bit. Obviously they had the crowd and set pieces, where they're always dangerous. So, they started to get that momentum. Maybe it was that which decided it in the end."

On recovering from the setback, Tah added: "Put it behind us right now. Just focus on the next game. I think it's always important how you react when you lose. We will keep going, work hard and hopefully face them again."
