Bayern Munich board member Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has laughed off claims of losing Michael Olise this summer.

The France attacker is being linked with Real Madrid and Liverpool, where he is seen as a potential replacement for Mohamed Salah.

Rummenigge told AS: "These are rumours that make everyone at the club smile. You (referring to the journalist) know better than anyone how the media circus works.

"He still has three years left on his contract, so there's nothing else to add. People come to the stadium for players like him."

Rummenigge was also asked about rumours of Bayern being interested in Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr.

He continued: "The question is superfluous, given that he's an invaluable player and already plays for his dream team. I wouldn't be surprised if he was one of Florentino's (Perez, Real president) favorites. I've heard that some Saudi clubs are interested in him, but I don't think he'll leave.

"Florentino is a true football expert and will do everything to keep him. I remember his brace in the first leg two years ago."

On Bayern coach Vincent Kompany, Rummenigge admits the Belgian has been a big and positive surprise.

He added, "We're fortunate that he's here. I've seen truly great coaches come and go at Bayern, like Lattek, Hitzfeld, Heynckes, and Guardiola, and Vini is reaching that level. I'm enjoying myself watching the pitch again, which hasn't always been the case in recent years.

"It's a pleasure to watch our football, the successes are coming, and peace has returned to the club. The coach is the most important employee, and Vini is a blessing, even on a personal level."
