The midfielder was outstanding for Bayern's 2-1 win at Real Madrid in last night's Champions League quarterfinal first-leg clash.
Upamecano told Canal+: "He can make the difference at any timeg.
"He's an incredible player, but above all, he's incredibly hungry. Off the pitch, he's a person like me: he's a hard worker."
The Bayern defender also said: "If he continues like this, he could become a football legend. The Ballon d'Or? In the future, yes."
This season, Olise has 16 goals and 28 assists in 40 appearances for Bayern.
